Corporate support

We have had very positive experiences of working with local businesses who share our desire to protect and enhance our local environment. We can arrange volunteering days for staff with the Lower Mole Partnership, which is good for team building, benefits the local environment and strengthens the relationship between the business, the community and voluntary sector.

One successful example of a business partnership was with Ringway Surrey. The company nominated the Lower Mole Countryside Trust as one of the charities to receive a portion of their marketing merchandise budget. Rather than the company purchasing more merchandise to give away at events, which often means creating plastic items that end up in people’s cupboards or in landfill, their staff nominated local charities to receive donations from the merchandising budget. The Trust was delighted to receive a proportion of the funds allocated.

The Trust is keen to develop a long term relationship with a business partner to support our work financially or to provide advice and expertise to the trustees. Offers of help can be channelled through Stay in touch page.
